boy, it's really quiet around here

the little monsters boys are off to their first day of school. i can tell the ninth grader was a little nervous, i feel guilty about kicking him out of the car across the street from the school. but the traffic! the school's population is approximately 4500. oy.

the seventh grader was all, meh, you don't have to walk me...i know where to go, i've been there before.

i miss them already.

It's no secret that I live in the BEST neighborhood. I mean, the families I meet here are just plain AWESOME. These folks stopped by the studio/shop at First Fridays back in June. And now here they are in front of my lens:

Cindy and Servando own and manage Orozco's Auto Service on Atlantic Avenue. That yellow and blue building next to Jack in the Box. Can't miss it.
